The observed total combines two programs. Audit materials use April and May 2026 in different places; it is not a HAFF-only completion count or a measure of the whole housing market.
The collected chapter links both ABS series and reproduces the calculation: (1.032 ÷ (102.31 ÷ 98.43) − 1) × 100. It measures job prices relative to a broad consumer basket, not after-tax household income or hours worked.
